The Cinema Sound Experience – A Symphony of Power and Precision

The YOTTA loudspeaker system is meticulously crafted for those who seek the ultimate home cinema experience. Whether capturing the faint rustling of leaves in a gentle breeze or delivering the earth-shaking power of an action scene, the YOTTA ensures every detail is rendered with breathtaking clarity and impact. Transform your space into a realm of sound that is both dynamically expansive and intimately engaging, offering an audio experience that transcends traditional limitations.

This exceptional speaker system represents a significant advancement in audio technology, setting new standards for private home cinemas while retaining the power and versatility required for larger commercial spaces. The YOTTA harmoniously balances unparalleled sound pressure, exquisite detail resolution, and an extraordinary level of musicality. Its innovative design allows for an immersive soundstage that captivates audiences and draws them into the cinematic experience.

At the heart of the YOTTA is our proprietary "point array coaxial" driver system. This advanced design integrates six high-frequency compression drivers and six mid-frequency drivers, meticulously engineered in-house to achieve unmatched coherence and precision. Unlike conventional setups that rely on multiple stacked horns, YOTTA's singular horn design delivers the entire acoustic spectrum from a single point source. This results in flawless audio performance across the 100 Hz to 28 kHz range, ensuring that each note is reproduced with stunning accuracy.

To complement its exceptional performance, a 3 channel YOTTA system is paired with 15 TERA subwoofers, each equipped with dual 10-inch drivers. The combined surface area exceeds one square meter (356 cm² per driver), resulting in a staggering low-frequency air volume displacement of 13 liters—approximately 7.5 times that of a conventional 21" woofer. Together, these subwoofers produce an astonishing maximum sound pressure level of 137.6 dB, creating an immersive soundstage capable of handling everything from the quietest whispers to the most explosive action sequences with life-like realism. This robust performance ensures that the YOTTA is not only suited for home use but can also excel in commercial settings.

The elegant design of the YOTTA horn, measuring 650 mm in depth, 900 mm in width, and 1820 mm in height, not only enhances its aesthetic appeal but also optimizes its acoustic performance. The horn loading principle allows for controlled directivity, minimizing distortion and providing exceptional efficiency. This careful engineering results in dynamics that impress even the most discerning audiophiles.

Redefine your home cinema expectations with the YOTTA. Experience a new era of sound, where the boundaries of performance are expanded, and every cinematic moment is brought to life with extraordinary fidelity and depth.

YOTTA - Red metallic - coupled to five TERA subwoofers

YOTTA - Grey metallic - coupled to five TERA subwoofers

Low frequencies are handled by TERA active subwoofers, hidden from the front view

The TERA subwoofer system is the indispensable complimentary product to our mid-high frequency loudspeakers such as YOCTO, FEMTO, EXA and YOTTA. This monolithic transducer has been designed to be used in pairs or in scalable power systems requiring more and more power. The subwoofer is constructed entirely with 15 mm aluminum sides, bolted together from inside the cabinet. It includes two long excursion 10" Ferrite-magnet drivers delivering 15" subwoofer output from a more compact enclosure. A system that includes two YOTTA and ten TERA subwoofers (five per side) can easily reach 130 dB continuous SPL from 30Hz up, depending on room geometry and size.

Point Array Driver: What Is It?

Our Point Array Driver represents the pinnacle of high-frequency reproduction, engineered with a premium magnesium dome—an element typically reserved for high-end dome tweeters. This advanced high-frequency (HF) driver is meticulously arranged in a Point Array configuration, where the throats converge at a single focal point instead of a line. This innovative design ensures cohesive and effective coupling, allowing for exceptional performance up to 28 kHz.

To enhance this cutting-edge design, we incorporate six concentric manifolds for our mid-frequency drivers. This arrangement produces isophase energy, ensuring a seamless transition and coherence between the HF units and mid-range frequencies. As a result, the Point Array Driver delivers a remarkable frequency response spanning from 100 Hz to 28 kHz, effectively combining the dynamic and sensitive characteristics of horn-loaded designs with the refined performance of high-end loudspeaker technology.

Experience the difference that our Point Array Driver can make in your audio system, providing clarity, precision, and an immersive soundstage that brings your music and cinematic experiences to life.

Precision Engineered Low-Mid Driver for Superior Sound

At Lange Loudspeakers SA, our ATTO loudspeaker features an in-house designed low-mid driver that exemplifies high-performance engineering. The driver’s CNC-manufactured chassis is meticulously crafted to reduce reflections from the loudspeaker frame back to the diaphragm, enhancing sound clarity

Our driver design incorporates a comprehensive array of refinements, ensuring reliable operation and simplified manufacturing. By addressing strict manufacturing tolerances, we optimize performance across our loudspeaker systems. The slug-type magnet is engineered for optimal efficiency, minimizing reflections towards the diaphragm thanks to its compact design and promoting superior coil cooling.

Strategically placed ventilation holes in the coil support minimize mechanical resistance (Rms) and enhance operational efficiency. The diaphragm is crafted to maximize frequency response, utilizing a transitional geometry instead of a traditional dome or cone shape. Constructed from anodized aluminum and paired with nitrile suspensions, the design effectively reduces Mms tolerance and maintains precision.

The absence of a dust cap further ensures minimal tolerances, while the CNC-manufactured frame facilitates precise component centering during production. This geometry effectively dissipates heat from the coil and promotes smooth acoustic energy flow, resulting in minimal reflections and superior sound reproduction.

High-Performance Compression Driver in the YOTTA

The FEMTO features an exceptional compression driver that delivers an impressive frequency response, ranging from 1200 Hz to 28 kHz. This driver utilizes an ultra-light magnesium dome and is equipped with a 3-channel circumferential phase plug, specifically engineered for optimal performance within our loudspeaker systems.

With a magnetic induction of 15,000 gauss and a 0.5 mm Xmax, this driver ensures high efficiency and low distortion, making it ideal for audiophiles seeking clarity and detail in their sound reproduction. The relatively large horn integrated into the FEMTO design enhances controlled coverage, providing precise sound dispersion even at frequencies beyond the human hearing threshold.

This combination of advanced materials and innovative engineering makes the FEMTO's compression driver a key component in achieving a superior audio experience, ensuring that every note is reproduced with accuracy and fidelity.
